TWA-083 - Linear Shape Memory Alloy Actuator7

The TWA-083 Linear Shape Memory Alloy Actuator provides 0.083" of stroke at just over 1 pound of force using 0.008" diameter SMA wires. The TWA-083 is roughly 0.5" x 1.8" x 0.1" and weighs just 0.12 ounces. To maintain such a slim profile, a music-wire flexure instead of a spring restores the start position following actuation. The built-in End Contact permits the TWA-083 to be safely operated at higher voltages and speeds when using the included Miga MADv5 MOSFET Switching Circuit. Ships with 3-pin connector detached. Specify desired SMA wire diameter during checkout, or the default is 0.008" High Temperature Nitinol.
